Atakoy - Ikitelli Metro Line
Tendered by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Atakoy – Ikitelli metro line is 13.5 km long and includes 11 stations. The metro line, constructed by Aga Construction, was designed by Prota using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology. Prota delivered preliminary design, final design and detailed design projects. In 2023, it is estimated that the line will carry 412.000 passengers daily.
Designed by Prota BIM Team, the metro line project has advanced to the final stage of Autodesk’s AEC Excellence Awards 2018 in Infrastructure category. Only 9 projects were nominated to the finals among 256 submissions from 32 different countries.
