Prota provided architectural and structural design of the closed tennis courts.

In the early years immediately following its foundation, Middle East Technical University (METU) was temporarily hosted in a small building that previously belonged to the Social Security Office of Retirees in Kızılay and another building near the Grand National assembly of Turkey. In 1963, the university moved to its current location west of Ankara city center, creating the first university campus of Turkey.

The main campus has a wide variety of sports activities for the indoor sports halls, tennis courts, soccer fields, jogging paths, olympic-size indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, etc. There are 15 outdoor and 2 indoor tennis courts in the campus.

Prota’s responsibilities included the architectural and structural design services of the courts having a total construction area of 4,800 m². The tennis courts are developed by covering the steel construction frame system with membran.
