Perge Theater

Located at the entrance of ancient Perge town of Antalya, Perge Theater was re-opened in 2006 under “Perge Conservation Development Plan” by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Within the scope of this plan, Prota Engineering provided design services by considering three principles;

1.  Prota applied provisions of “Perge Conservation Development Plan” into its design services. These provisions were confirmed by Antalya’s Cultural and Natural Heritage Conservation Board.

2.  Prota provided entire design services by considering any possible damages caused by hosts and participants of the events that may take place on the theater

3.  Technical infrastructure design services were performed by considering principles prepared by European Council.

This comprehensive project never had a chance to be implemented due to some impossibilities.
