Radisson Hotel

The Radisson Tripoli named as Al Mahari Hotel, operated by the existing government, is retrofitted (structurally upgraded), refurbished, and renovated by Prota. The hotel is comprised of 333 rooms, three restaurants, conference spaces, and a fitness centre. The Turkish Summa Group is behind these developments in a joint venture with the Libyan Social Security Fund Investments Company (SSFI). Designs were performed in accordance with the EN codes and standards. Selection of appropriate retrofit and upgrade options, guidance on geophysical and other disaster data and vulnerability of structures in such areas as well as the structural design were completed in accordance with the EN standards and codes including earthquake relates.

Reviewing and checking of the architectural design and the improvement of the renovation reports were also carried out by Prota.
