Save Our Schools Project

The Ministry of National Education started a project in 2006 for strengthening the 40 school buildings which were seismically unsafe and for creating safe environments for the children. In the scope of the project, Prota performed;

• seismic vulnerability assessment,
• damage assesment,
• soil and geotechnical research and review,
• seismic and capacity evaluation,
• retrofitting design and detailing,
• preparation of BoQs and tender documents, and
• construction supervision of retrofitting works for the schools and pension buildings.
